The Outward Bound Trust is an educational charity and one of the UK's leading outdoor education providers. Outward Bound raises money to help young people to have access to safe, adventurous experiences through which they can raise their self-esteem, realise their full potential and achieve more than they ever thought possible.
McGrory Communications was appointed by The Outward Bound Trust to help raise its profile in the UK, strategically coinciding with the launch of the Government's "Learning Outside the Classroom Manifesto" in November 2006.
Through a combination of aggressive positioning, one-on-one media briefings and the provision of an Outward Bound Centre facility to give the UK broadcast media 'pictures', McGrory achieved wall to wall broadcast coverage on launch day.
